skating
At both Puy St Vincent 1600 and 1400 you will find
a small natural ice rink.
Puy 1400 - the rink is located on the left hand
side of the resort near the road.
Puy 1600 - the rink is located next to the main
chair lift (Bergerie).
The rink is open from 4pm to 8:30pm
every day, weather and ice conditions depending.
Boots are provided free of charge from the shed
next to the rink. |

| Quad bikes
Accompanied
1 or 2 hour trips every day departing from ski stations
of Puy St Vincent 1600 and Pelvoux (just beyond
Vallouise). You can have your own quad bike or sit
on the back of a bike driven by one of the guides.

delicious honey products (jars of honey, nougat,

Equipment
supplied: For all of the above trips the bikes are 150cc
and have an automatic gear box. You will also be
supplied with a helmet.

wear and bring: You need to wear sturdy outdoor shoes and warm
gloves. Small rucksack for your bits and pieces.
Note: you
have to have a driving licence to ride a quad bike.
Children ride for free on the back of the quad bike
and are under the responsibility of the driver. |

Honey Farm/House
(La Maison du Miel)
The Honey Farm
offers hot drinks, cakes, nougat, candles and of
course numerous types of honey all produced on site.
There is also
a small museum to inform you all about the production of honey.
A delicious
and interesting way to finish off your day on the
slopes.

There is a swimming pool located at the small town
of l'Argentière la Bessée, about 15 minutes drive from
Puy 1600, 5 minutes from our apartments at Les Vigneaux.

Country Skiing
(Ski de
Fond)
The area offers
many groomed cross country ski pistes.
These pistes are generally
circuits on fairly flat terrain and vary in length
and difficulty.
We highly recommend
the "Onde valley" which
starts at Vallouise. This circuit will take you
about half a day.
Free hot drinks
are often provided at the end!
We have all
the local maps which you are welcome to borrow.

| Snow shoe walks

Your experienced guide will instruct you how to
walk with snow shoes and inform you about the surrounding
fauna and flora.

You will take the Bergerie chair lift to 2000m
and then descend the Bois des Coqs

The walk stops off at the honey farm where you
can buy a snack. Please bring at least 6 Euros for
your snack.

A walk under the stary
and moonlit skies followed by a warm fire and mulled

Walk around Tournoux
and Lauzet plateau above Puy St Vincent. Spectacular views.

| Swimming
pool
There is a 25m pool in Briancon. It has a giant
slide, small pool for toddlers and a jacuzzi
pool. The pool is found at the first industrial/shopping
area not far from Champion supermarket.
The pool is open every afternoon into early evening.

ice rink
The indoor ice rink is found next to the swimming
pool on the way into Briançon just beyond
Champion supermarket. The rink often holds national
Ice Hockey competitions in the evenings which you
can often buy tickets for on the very same day of
the match.
The rink is open every afternoon and some evenings.
