Puy Saint Vincent - New lifts and new runs !!!! |

It's November 20th 2005 and I have finally, as promised, managed to get up to the ski station to take some photos of progress on the new lift and new runs here at Puy Saint Vincent.
High up on the mountain (above 2000m) we already have snow and down at 1400m it is now cold enough for the snow canons to start working this weekend.
So here is what you have been waiting to see... |

Here is the business end of the brand new "Des Prés" 6 seater télésiège at Puy Saint Vincent 1400m. As you can see the fantastic glass back wall gives a beautiful reflection of the mountains...from this angle you can see the Tete d'Aval (Montbrison) reflected in the late evening sun.

We thought we'd give a test and its seems quite comfortable!!!

Here is the tunnel under the main road between PSV 1600m and 1400m to take the new run that will extend from the Bois du Coqs all the way down to the new lift at 1400m. A 7km blue run...whaaaahooo!!!! | |

Looking down from the tunnel....bit of a ski jump at the moment....but they have some big diggers around to sort it out in the next couple of weeks...personally I hope they leave it like that!!!! | |
